Clubbing: The Review No-One Asked For

I went clubbing for the first time this weekend. Significantly older than many of my friends when they first went, I braved the dark room and bright lights for the first time. I never thought it would be something I would enjoy, and seeing as it is SO far out of my usual Saturday night, I thought I'd share a very honest review here. Spoiler: I quite enjoyed it.
I went with a group of my friends when we were away for the weekend in Norwich (beautiful, historical city to visit if you haven't already!) and after a few bars, we ended up in Loft.
It helped that I was out with seasoned experts in the field of clubbing, as I'm sure they won't mind me saying, and they definitely took me under their wings to show me the ways.
Positives:
I was very impressed with the music choices. A nice mix of current chart hits, club classics and Abba.
The aeroplane. Yes, an aeroplane seating area is what greets you as you enter Loft.
The price. £3 for a night out feels practically unheard of now, but was a welcome treat when I heard that was the entry price. I used to spend £3 on the door at my local music venue when I was 14 years old to see three local bands: it is at least £10 now!
Negatives:
Too many people. A bit claustrophobic, a few too many students and a drunk teenager that fell down the stairs and into me, nearly sending me flying like a live verison of Wii Sports Bowling before I even paid.
So the question remains, will I return to a club? For my first time clubbing, I'd rate it 8/10. Good music, good friends, good areoplane seats. Score slightly brought down by the life-size version of Wii Sports Bowling down the stairs.
Undoubtably I shall soon return to the wild life of the club again soon. Time will tell.
